Cuthbert didn't even try to. With a little smile that was just barely visible in the candlelight, he nodded. "Guess maybe they should," he allowed, after a moment, and squeezed her hand lightly. He didn't necessarily agree - frankly, privacy in general was a concept that had more or less passed him by, at least when there weren't sensitive matters being discussed - but he could see where she was coming from, and with something like this, that was enough.
He let go of her hand after a moment to lower himself down onto the ground. It was enough of an exertion in his current state that he didn't feel like waiting for her to lie down first was entirely appropriate.
